Tugboat Festival in Midland

We will be at the Tugboat Festival August 24, 25, 26. Along with many other artisans from 10-6 Friday and Saturday, 10-4 on Sunday, down at the Harbour in Midland. Come and see the 30 Tugboats parade, tours, and race.

Flower Scale Chainmaille

This is a new weave that Carol has learned called Scalemaille. You can make these beautiful flowers out of Anodized Aluminum. In this picture, a flower is attached to a Byzantine Chainmaille Weave.

Chainmail

I have been getting creative with my chainmail. The necklace is using Brass Rings and Ruby Swarovski Crystals. The watches are made with Aluminum rings and embellished with glass beads. The byzantine bracelet is made from brass rings. All of these can be custom sized. Order online

BEADING WORKSHOPS

We also offer beading workshops for kids & teens in your home. This is a really fun thing to do and allows everyone to show off their artistic talent. The cost is $20 per person, (minimum of 5 kids or teens)plus materials.

BEADING WORKSHOP

We now offer a variety of BEADING WORKSHOPS which turn out to be a lot of fun and a great "girls" social time. Most are "hands on" and in a couple of hours, everyone can make an elegant necklace, bracelet or earrings for themselves or family. Beading projects according to time of year may be chosen ie Easter, Canada Day, Christmas etc. Each workshop is discussed with the Hostess who has the option to choose the project. We will have on hand a variety of beads & materials for guests to make their own choice for the project booked, or they can choose kits. Our classes are beginner friendly and held in your own home.
