Bead and Chain Mail Woven Together!

I have been learning a new technique of mixing my two loves, Bead work and Chain Mail. This weave is called Centipede, and comes from the book Beadmaille by Cindy Thomas Pankopf.

BEADING WORKSHOPS

Captive Bead Chain maille - weaving with jump rings enclosing crystals and glass beads

Intro to Chain Maille: Learn the different weaves like Byzantine, European 4-1, Persian and Half Persian, Helm

Intro to Seed Bead Weaving: Peyote, Spiral, Brick, Daisy

Learn to Wire Wrap: Wrap a pendant or make a ring

We also offer beading workshops for kids & teens in your home. This is a really fun thing to do and allows everyone to show off their artistic talent. The cost is $20 per person, (minimum of 5 kids or teens)plus materials.

BEADING WORKSHOP

We now offer a variety of BEADING WORKSHOPS which turn out to be a lot of fun and a great "girls" social time. Most are "hands on" and in a couple of hours, everyone can make an elegant necklace, bracelet or earrings for themselves or family. Beading projects according to time of year may be chosen ie Easter, Canada Day, Christmas etc. Each workshop is discussed with the Hostess who has the option to choose the project. We will have on hand a variety of beads & materials for guests to make their own choice for the project booked, or they can choose kits. Our classes are beginner friendly and held in your own home.
